Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, our representative will welcome you and provide a brief overview of your journey. You will then be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and recover from your travels. Take the evening to explore Casablanca at your own pace or unwind at the hotel.
After breakfast, your journey begins with a visit to the stunning Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco and one of the most impressive Islamic landmarks in the world. Perched on the Atlantic coast, its towering minaret reaches 210 meters, making it the tallest in the world.
Leaving Casablanca behind, we drive to Rabat, Morocco’s political capital. Here, you will explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, a charming fortress with scenic river views, and visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V & Hassan Tower, remnants of a grand but unfinished 12th-century mosque.
Continuing north, we reach Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue City,” nestled in the Rif Mountains. Its picturesque blue-washed streets create an enchanting atmosphere, perfect for an evening stroll before settling in for the night.
After breakfast, we journey south toward Fes, with a stop at Volubilis, an ancient UNESCO World Heritage Site. This Roman city boasts remarkably preserved mosaics, grand arches, and basilicas, offering a fascinating glimpse into Morocco’s past.
Next, we explore Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. Highlights include the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, a striking example of Moroccan architecture, the magnificent Bab Mansour Gate, and the Royal Stables, built in the 17th century.
By late afternoon, we arrive in Fes, the country’s cultural and spiritual heart. You will check into your hotel and have the evening free to relax or explore.
Today, you will embark on a guided tour of Fes el-Bali, the oldest and most well-preserved medina in the Arab world. As you wander through its labyrinthine alleys, you’ll visit the Royal Palace, the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and the renowned Bou Inania Madrasa, a 14th-century theological school with intricate tilework.
You’ll also explore the Al-Qarawiyyin University, the world’s oldest continuously operating university, and visit the famous Chouara Tannery, where traditional leather-making techniques are still practiced. The afternoon is yours to explore further or relax at your hotel.
Departing Fes, we travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping first in Ifrane, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco” due to its alpine architecture and cool climate. Next, we visit the Cedar Forest of Azrou, home to wild Barbary macaques.
As we continue south, the landscape transforms into the breathtaking Ziz Valley, a lush palm oasis framed by towering cliffs. By afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, where you will trade your vehicle for a camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets, you will arrive at your luxury desert camp, where a traditional Berber dinner awaits, followed by music around the campfire under a star-filled sky.
Rise early to witness the unforgettable sunrise over the Sahara before returning to Merzouga by camel. After breakfast, we visit Rissani, an ancient desert trading post known for its vibrant souk and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif.
We then continue toward the Todra Gorges, where sheer rock walls rise up to 300 meters, creating one of Morocco’s most dramatic landscapes. You will have time to walk along the riverbed, taking in the towering canyon views.
By late afternoon, we arrive in the Dades Valley, known for its striking rock formations and breathtaking scenery. You will check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.
After breakfast, we journey through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, stopping in Kalaat M’Gouna, famous for its rose distilleries. We then explore Skoura, home to the impressive Amridil Kasbah, one of the best-preserved in Morocco.
Continuing to Ouarzazate, often called “the Hollywood of Africa,” we visit the Taourirt Kasbah before heading to the iconic Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah that has been featured in films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
