Continuing the journey, we reach the blue city of Chefchaouen, one of Morocco most picturesque towns. Nestled in the foothills of the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen enchants visitors with its cobalt-blue alleyways, vibrant souks, and laid-back atmosphere. Stroll through the medina, where colorful artisan shops line the streets, offering handwoven blankets, leather goods, and stunning pottery. The town Spanish-style main square is a lively hub with charming cafés and restaurants. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner before settling into your riad for the night.

After a refreshing morning in Chefchaouen, we journey towards the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a vast archaeological site that was once a thriving Roman city. Walk among well-preserved mosaics, grand arches, and ancient temples, offering a glimpse into Roman life in North Africa.
Next, we travel to Meknes, a magnificent imperial city built by Sultan Moulay Ismail in the 17th century. After a leisurely lunch in Meknes, we continue to Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Upon arrival, check into your riad for a relaxing evening.

Today, immerse yourself in the rich history of Fes, Morocco oldest and most influential imperial city. Begin with a visit to the Royal Palace gates, adorned with intricate golden doors, followed by a stop at the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), which dates back to the 16th century.
Enter the labyrinthine Fes el-Bali medina, a UNESCO-listed site and the largest car-free urban area in the world. Walk through its narrow alleys, lined with bustling souks selling everything from handcrafted carpets and spices to colorful ceramics and perfumes. Key stops include Al-Qarawiyyin University, the world oldest operating university. Chouara Tanneries, where artisans use ancient techniques to dye leather. Attarine Madrasa, an architectural masterpiece with stunning tilework.
After lunch, visit a traditional ceramics workshop before ending the day with a panoramic view of the medina from a nearby hilltop. Return to your riad for a relaxing evening.

After breakfast, depart Fes and journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco” due to its European-style architecture and clean streets. Visit the nearby cedar forest of Azrou, home to wild Barbary macaques.
As we continue, admire the changing landscapes as we pass through Midelt, a region famous for its apple orchards. The road winds through the Ziz Valley, an oasis lined with lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Stop for panoramic views before heading to Erfoud, a town renowned for its fossils and date palm plantations.
Arriving in Merzouga, you will be welcomed with traditional mint tea before checking into your riad on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a peaceful night as you prepare for your desert adventure.

Today is dedicated to exploring the wonders of the Sahara Desert. Begin with a visit to Khamlia village, where you will meet the Gnawa people, originally from Mali, Senegal, and Sudan. Enjoy a performance of their unique spiritual music and drumming.
Continue the journey to meet nomadic Berber families, gaining insight into their simple yet resilient way of life. Experience a traditional Berber meal—the famous Berber pizza, stuffed with spiced meat and almonds.
In the afternoon, embark on a camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you will witness the mesmerizing sunset over the vast Sahara. Arrive at a luxury desert camp, where a traditional Moroccan dinner awaits. Spend the evening around a bonfire, listening to Berber music under the star-filled desert sky.

Rise early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, then return to Merzouga by camel. After breakfast, drive through Rissani, a historic town known for its authentic souks and ancient kasbahs.
