Upon arrival in Tangier, we’ll meet you at the port or airport and drive through the scenic Rif Mountains towards Chefchaouen, the stunning blue city. After breakfast, we’ll drive to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its well-preserved Roman ruins and stunning mosaics. From there, we head to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Explore the historic medina, visit the Bab Mansour Gate, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to Fes.
After breakfast, take a guided tour of Fes, one of the oldest cities in Morocco. Visit the Royal Palace Gate, Jewish Quarter (El Mellah), and Al-Qarawiyyin University. Explore the tanneries and the Attarine Museum, and visit the Mulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, visit a local tile cooperative and enjoy panoramic views of the Medina.
After breakfast, we’ll drive to Merzouga, passing through Ifrane, known for its Swiss-like architecture, and Midelt, where we’ll stop for lunch. Continue through the Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and stunning views. As we approach the Sahara Desert, we’ll stop in Errachidia for Berber hospitality before arriving in Merzouga. In the afternoon, take a camel trek into the dunes of the Sahara Desert, where you’ll watch the sunset. Dinner will be served in front of the desert camp, where you will stay overnight.
ASpend the full day exploring the Sahara Desert. After a traditional breakfast, you’ll embark on a camel trek to explore more of the dunes. You’ll have time to relax and enjoy the solitude of the desert, learn about local Berber culture, and visit nearby desert villages. In the late afternoon, you can enjoy another camel ride to witness the magical Sahara sunset. Dinner and overnight will be in your luxury desert camp, where you can stargaze in the clear night sky.
After breakfast, we’ll ride camels back to the guesthouse and then drive towards Todgha Gorge, known for its dramatic rock formations and deep canyon. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch and explore the gorge, walking along the riverbed and admiring the towering cliffs. Continue to Dades Valley for the night, where you’ll stay.
After breakfast, travel through the Dades Valley along the Route of One Thousand Kasbahs, which offers breathtaking photo opportunities. Stop in Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a fortified village used in numerous films.
